The H.I.M Center opens its doors to people in need every Tuesday and Thursday from 9:30am – 12:00pm. We are also open on the 3rd evening of the month from 5:30pm – 7:00pm and the 4th Saturday of the month from 9am – 11:30am. Those in need (regardless of zip code) can fill out a simple application and receive a grocery basket full of quality foods to include; meats, vegetables, produce. drinks, canned goods, breads, pastry’s and sometimes a surprise or two such as flowers, holiday gift items, and more.
A variety of foods are provided and include (actual content vary based on current donations):
Fruits and Vegetables
Carbohydrates (i.e. Rice, Pasta, or Beans)
Bread and Rolls
Protein (i.e., canned tuna, fish, or chicken)
Canned Goods
First time applicants must bring:

ID
Complete a HIM Application
No appointment is needed, but it does help speed up the process.
Partner Pantry
In partnership with more than 100 food assistance programs throughout North Texas the H.I.M Center provides food in bulk (500 lbs. – 2,500 lbs.) to a variety of churches, non-profits, and other organizations to include; food pantries, soup kitchens, senior centers, low-income daycare centers, after-school and summer programs, rehabilitation centers, shelters and youth services.
Our partner programs do go through an organizational application process and once approved work in collaboration with the HIM Center to help provide nutritious and balanced meals and groceries to people at risk of hunger – the majority of whom are women, children, seniors, the working poor, and people with disabilities.
